The Organisation

We're Imperial Health Charity, an organisation that helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary's and the Western Eye.

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our financial operations and management.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and leading a small team of Finance Officers, you will ensure smooth financial processes, support our strategic objectives and engage with internal and external stakeholders to make a positive impact for patients and NHS staff.

Managing our day-to-day financial operations, you will oversee transactional inputs, lead the month-end process and ensure accurate coding and reconciliation of accounts.

You will also oversee both the purchase and income ledgers, managing invoice processing, payment approvals, donation postings, debtor management and income allocation from various platforms.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately
- Assist with year-end preparations and audits
- Handle payroll administration

About You

To be considered as a Finance Manager, you will need:

- Experience overseeing complex finance matters and finding creative and proactive solutions
- Experience of line management
- To be working towards an AAT qualification or equivalent
- The ability to travel between hospital sites in West London

Please note, this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
