Primary Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join the team at a reputable primary school in Lichfield. This is a full-time position that is available for an immediate start.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Relevant qualifications in Education or Childcare is desired (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
- Providing one-to-one support to students with additional learning needs
- Supervising and supporting students during activities and break times
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
