Intranet Content Manager
This is a 6-month rolling contract paying up to £250 per day Inside IR35 fully remote.
Company/project overview:
A global corporation with over 150,000 employees and a billion-pound turnover is currently recruiting an Intranet Content Manager to assist with the launch of their new intranet software. You'll be a part of the creation, design and publishing of the website's new content as they migrate away from SharePoint moving to Odyssey Interactive Software. The ideal candidate will have experience of Interact Software or similar intranet tooling as our client modernises their intranet platform.
This role will require extensive stakeholder engagement and content transformation to ensure the content is fit for purpose.
Role responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions for content design for other, lower priority content
- Share training with new publishers on how to use the new platform and provide support to resolve questions
- Produce clear content guidelines to support publishers (images, text, colours, fonts, tone of voice, accessibility best practice etc.)
- Review content created by high priority publishing teams and identify improvements based on content design best practice
- Provide hands on support and site administration – making changes to the site, the navigation bar, application bar as required
- Produce other support, guidance, templates to ensure publishers adhere to best practice
- Run monthly drop in Q&A sessions
- Manage the online Publisher community (resolve issues, highlight best practice, share inspiration etc)
- Set up the support function so that it is ready to hand over to BAU at the end of the contract
Experience required:
- Extensive intranet publishing experience is essential
- Experience creating content design, management, publishing and transformation for Intranet sites within a global brand is essential
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities is essential
- Experience providing intranet platform training / documentation is essential
- Experience of using Interact software (Odyssey Interactive Software LTD) or similar platforms is desirable
