Finance Analyst

Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering with our global client who is seeking a Finance Specialist for a critical role in managing and analysing overhead spends across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting processes for overheads.
- Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on overhead spends to key stakeholders.
- Drive financial support and insight for all overhead-related projects.
- Continuously seek and implement ways to reduce overhead costs.
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate Supply Co accounting and reporting.
- Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with tax and finance teams to ensure accurate external financial reporting.
- Work with the Shared Service Centre and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with processes and achievement of KPIs.
- Identify and implement opportunities to transfer additional work to the SSC.
- Maintain up-to-date Schedule of Authority limits and SAP release strategies.
- Support the UK Finance Manager with financial audits, projects, and other ad hoc tasks.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in handling and analysing large data sets (advanced Excel skills).
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Experience in working with and challenging senior stakeholders.
- Strong process-driven and continuous improvement mindset.
- SAP experience (or a similar system) is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in a similar role is also beneficial.
