Fel Ceidwad, rydych yn gwbl ganolog i'r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol yn y tirweddau rydym yn eu gwarchod. Rydych yn hyrwyddwr cadwraeth natur a'r awyr agored, a byddwch yn chwarae rhan hanfodol yn y broses o gadw cefn gwlad ac arfordir gwerthfawr y genedl mewn cyflwr da er mwyn bywyd gwyllt ac er mwyn pobl.

Dylech fod yn barod i weithio ar rai penwythnosau, gwyliau banc a nosweithiau, a bod ar alw.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Lead Ranger, you'll be joining a countryside team who work across Pembrokeshire. Based at Stackpole in South Pembrokeshire, you'll be part of a team that consists of a Lead Ranger and two Rangers.

National Trust looks after 4,000ha of the most naturally spectacular and culturally rich landscapes in Pembrokeshire, including, windswept coastal farms, the storm crashed cliffs of Stackpole Head, Gupton Farm and the adjacent wetland of Castlemartin Corse, the wooded estates at Colby and Stackpole, and some of the best beaches in Wales.

Yn atebol i'r Prif Geidwad, byddwch yn ymuno â thîm cefn gwlad sy'n gweithio ar draws Sir Benfro. Wedi'ch lleoli yn Stagbwll, De Sir Benfro, byddwch yn rhan o dîm sy'n cynnwys Prif Geidwad a dau Geidwad.

Mae'r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol yn gofalu am 4,000ha o'r tirweddau naturiol mwyaf anhygoel a diwylliannol gyfoethog yn Sir Benfro, gan gynnwys, ffermydd ar arfordiroedd gwyntog, clogwyni Penrhyn Tyddewi a Phen Ystagbwll, Fferm Gupton a chorstiroedd cyfagos Cors Castell Martin, y coetiroedd hynafol ar hyd yr afon Cleddau a'n hystadau mawr, coediog yn Colby ac Ystagbwll a rhai o'r traethau gorau yng Nghymru.

What you'll be doing

You'll be helping to protect and care for habitats, wildlife, buildings and machinery. You'll pass on your knowledge and enthusiasm to encourage others to love this area as much as you do. Whenever and wherever you come across people, you'll take the time to talk to them and answer their questions, rather than rushing away to the next task.

You'll make sure that the conservation work and outdoor experiences on the land in your care are of the highest standard. You'll build relationships in the local community, proudly representing the Trust and letting people know about the work you and the team are doing.

Working alongside other rangers, you'll be carrying out a wide range of practical tasks to restore our woodlands, wetlands and rare grassland habitats. You'll be working with and occasionally supervising volunteer groups, teaching them new skills and helping them to perform at their best.
