We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Team Manager position to join our team here at Northamptonshire Children's Trust. This is an exciting time to be joining us, as we are still in a period of significant transformation, now delivering services as a Trust for two unitary authorities across the county.
Job Duties:
- Lead and manage a social care team for child protection, adoption, and fostering services.
- Improve outcomes for vulnerable children in need of protection or care.
- Deliver statutory responsibilities to safeguard and promote children's welfare.
- Direct daily operations of social care teams, including workload allocation and case decisions.
- Ensure duties comply with standards, procedures, and legislation to safeguard children.
- Recruit, supervise, appraise, and develop staff to maintain an effective service.
- Manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and inform budget planning.
- Develop and maintain multi-agency partnerships for effective risk assessment and response.
- Create and implement team plans to meet performance targets and improve services.
- Ensure compliance with equality policies, health and safety requirements, and manage complaints.
