Property Fraud Investigator - Salary circa £40,000

We are looking for a Property Fraud Investigator to join our Counter Fraud team. If you are passionate about fraud investigation and have property experience, we would love to hear from you!

A bit about the job:

Your core responsibilities will be to effectively investigate and manage investigations relating to fraudulent property claims. You will be confident in handling complex claims, such as breaches of policy conditions and non-disclosures and investigate whether this is deliberate and/ or reckless, fraudulent and have a clear understanding of the principles and remedies and will competently address concerns with all stakeholders (customers, loss assessors and trades) and understand complex claims.

You will deal with customer demand and investigate and validate residential and commercial claims in line with policy cover. You'll be responsible for conducting investigations into potential cases of buildings and contents fraud using investigative techniques and fraud detection tools to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, participate in developing and implementing of fraud prevention strategies and processes.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, prioritizing responsibilities and delivering quality within agreed time limits
  • Team player mentality, with a willingness to learn and help others out
  • Embrace and supports change, matched with the ability to share ideas and suggestions to improve our customers' journey
  • Effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of building pathology

  • Salary £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
