Based near Tamworth, this manufacturer has boomed in recent years and is experiencing ongoing commercial success due to its wide-reaching target market and ability to manufacture and deliver high-quality products. Because of this growth, the company is looking to strengthen its sales team by adding an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Coordinator to work in close collaboration with the Regional Manager and support the team of Branch Managers. An integral role for the company, this position is suited to a candidate with a tenacious and positive attitude, who has a history of overseeing a range of accounts.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the wider sales team to oversee a range of existing accounts with the aim of maximising profitability
  • Look for opportunities to upsell and cross sell by maintaining regular contact with customers
  • Seek out new business opportunities by monitoring the market and qualifying leads
  • Build connections with potential customers and reach out to lapsed customers over the phone
  • Use the system to open customer accounts, process orders, and generate quotations
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports for the Regional Manager and Branch Managers

Sales Coordinator Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar sales position gained as either a Sales Executive or Sales Coordinator
  • Knowledge of construction or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous
  • Personable with the ability to nurture existing relationships and build new connections
  • Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and written skills
  • IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills
