We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our supportive team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students with special educational needs, fostering their growth and helping them reach their full potential.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive and positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring tailored support.
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, promoting their well-being and academic success.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique requirements of each student.
