An independent special school near Lewes, East Sussex, dedicated to therapeutic and child-centred education, is looking for a qualified SEN Maths Teacher. Spread across two sites, this institution supports students aged 10 to 19 with diverse backgrounds, primarily focusing on those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional SEND such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

About the Role

At this school, the Head Teacher prioritises teaching children first, with subject matter coming second. They are looking for a Maths specialist to teach Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE. Support from national subject champions is provided to help non-specialists thrive.
