Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status preferred but not essential
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this position, candidates should have experience working as a commissioning manager within retrofit/refurbishment projects that are implemented while buildings remain occupied by tenants/users. Additional skills required include extensive knowledge of building systems (electrical/mechanical) and controls along with proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
As part of our client's growing business you will lead on all aspects relating to project commissioning including;
- Provide technical advice during design development phase;
- Develop site specific test plans ensuring compliance against specifications;
- Attend factory acceptance tests representing both company interests alongside clients' representatives ;
- Manage sub-contractor teams throughout testing phases ;
- Work closely with design engineers/consultants at pre-commission stage resolving any issues identified prior those arising on site;
