Legionella Risk Assessor - Berkshire
Salary: £36,000 + benefits (including fully comped vehicle for private use)
My client is a leading environmental consultancy specialising in water hygiene and safety solutions. They are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team in Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about ensuring the safety and compliance of water systems, while also seeking personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough Legionella risk assessments in a variety of settings including commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
- Producing detailed reports with recommendations for remedial actions to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Providing clients with expert advice and guidance on Legionella control and prevention measures.
- Carrying out regular audits and inspections of water systems to monitor ongoing compliance.
- Collaborating with clients to develop and implement effective Legionella management plans.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to ensure the highest level of service.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor with a strong understanding of water hygiene and safety regulations (HSG 274 & ACOP L8)
- Relevant qualifications in Legionella Risk Assessing (WMSoc or City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Exceptional analytical and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within Berkshire and surrounding areas.
