Superb opportunity to join a local construction group at a time of growth and development as Finance Manager. Reporting to the MD you will be in a sole charge role and responsible for all aspects of the accounts function. Duties will include:-
Duties of the Finance Manager role:-
- Manage the full accounting function, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll
- Processing over 800 purchase invoices a month, including matching, batching and coding to the system
- Ensure all goods have been received and signed off before processing payment
- Requesting copy invoices, and resolving supplier queries
- Month end, bank and supplier statement reconciliations
- Prepare CIS returns, review expenses and process payments
- All aspects of sales ledger, credit control, aged debtor and cashflow reporting
- Process monthly payroll, including pensions
- Monthly management accounts, profit and loss and balance sheet
- Analyse costs and monitor budgets against spend
Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-
- AAT Qualified or exceptional QBE
- Construction company experience including CIS
- Experience using Sage Accountancy system
- SME company background preferably in a sole charge role.
