Join London's Fire Service as an HR Data Analyst for an immediate start. This role is crucial for managing and analysing HR data, ensuring the smooth transition and operation of HR systems. Ideal for candidates who are proficient in data management and analysis, looking for a temporary position with the potential for extension.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Understand and support the HR Data Team in the creation and maintenance of Business Object reports using iTrent data.
  • Carry out ad-hoc queries using available tools to support work during the parallel run period of Cyborg and iTrent.
  • Demonstrate full competence in joining and matching data to gain maximum knowledge and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build views and join tables using the iTrent database as necessary.
  • Help build regular reports, audit, and validation reports to support the parallel running and go-live of iTrent on a range of people data and position/organisation structure data.
  • Undertake reconciliation between existing Cyborg reports and new iTrent reports to enable sign-off of reports.
  • Resolve any data issues identified during reconciliation.
  • Query and extract data using Business Objects skills.
  • Maintain data, queries, and working files in an orderly, consistent, and agreed way so that work can be shared across the team.
  • Build reports using SSRS and PowerBi (desirable).
  • Check own work to ensure accuracy and work with the team to improve data quality.
  • Support the HR Data Team in creating a full suite of reports needed for internal use and to support the wider organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in data management and analysis.
  • Experience with iTrent and Business Objects.
  • Ability to carry out ad-hoc queries and data reconciliation.
  • Competence in SSRS and PowerBi is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
