Salary: £40-45k

Hours of Work: The Company operates various working shifts, the earliest starting at 6.30am and the latest finishing at 6pm. During the probation period, candidate will remain on a Monday to Friday rota, with hours of work being from 8.30am to 5pm, with one hour lunch break on each day. Following successful completion of probation period, the successful candidate may be asked to vary working hours within the Company's flexible rota. You should note that you may be required to work on weekends or on public or bank holidays within conditioned hours. Management reserves the right to alter rotas if changes in commitment make this necessary

Probation period: Three months (during which notice period will be one week for first month and one month for remaining two months)

Notice period: One Month

Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days (In addition to public and bank holidays for England and Wales)

Note: Unless exceptional circumstances occur, due to the nature of our business and the markets that we serve, annual leave will not be approved during the Christmas and New Year period

Location: 36 Shad Thames (Core 1A), Butlers Wharf Building, London, SE1 2YE

Bonus: Discretionary (eligible after 12-month employment anniversary)

A Product Support role has become available within the ETHOS Development team. The successful candidate will be focused primarily on our award winning financial technology platform ETHOS AFP™. The platform is a bespoke, real-time trade and post trade service platform providing 24-hour coverage via a secure, web-based portal. Further details can be found below.

Duties & Accountabilities

  • Technical capability to understand technical environment and ETHOS AFP™ functionality
  • Support of development, testing and implementation of change to ETHOS AFP™ Platform
  • Support Clients On-Boarding and client testing requirements.
  • Comfortable providing application demos to clients
  • Liaising with both Business and Technical teams on a regular basis
  • Ability to elicit, analyse and document business requirements for technical initiatives, development and implementation.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Ambitious individual who wants to learn about technology and how it can impact business
  • Previous experience in automated test tools for SOAP and REST interfaces an advantage.
  • Degree in technical, computer science or information technology preferrable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Client interaction in a support function
  • An understanding and knowledge of security concerns around web-based development and best practise in identifying and mitigating these.
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise user guides and technical documentation.
  • Previous experience of client interaction in a support environment would be beneficial.
