Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Company Bonus Scheme

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital Marketing Executive looking for an exciting opportunity to lead digital marketing efforts in a dynamic B2B environment? Our client, an established distribution organisation, is seeking a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving digital marketing initiatives, enhancing online presence, and generating qualified leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Website Management: Oversee the maintenance, optimisation, and development of the website to ensure an exceptional user experience and high conversion rates.
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimisation): Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive lead generation.
  • PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Advertising: Manage and optimise PPC campaigns across platforms like Google. Analyse performance and adjust strategies as needed for many brands and regions.
  • Newsletters: Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including design, content, segmentation, and analysis of performance. Ensure newsletters are engaging, informative, and drive desired actions.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to the website. Manage company profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Graphic Design: Oversee the creation of visual content for digital marketing campaigns. Ensure all graphics align with the brand identity and enhance the overall marketing message.
  • Planning and Reporting: Develop digital marketing plans and campaigns. Regularly report on key metrics, performance, and ROI to senior management. Use data-driven insights to inform and adjust strategies.
  • Content Creation: Lead the content strategy and production for the company website. Ensure content is relevant, valuable, and aligned with the company's goals.
  • Liaising with Manufacturers: Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to ensure consistent brand messaging and collaboration on co-marketing opportunities. Coordinate marketing efforts and share insights to drive mutual success.

Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. OR 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Expertise in website management, SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Moz, and social media analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Moz, and social media analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
