We are excited to be recruiting for an ESTIMATOR to join the team at our construction industry based client
Department: Estimating
Location: Kettering, Northants
Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5
Reporting to: Estimating Manager
Key Role: The team of Estimators are responsible for providing quotations based on scope and specification of customer requirements. The administrative support role entails understanding and accurately interpreting customer and project requirements, whilst meeting all internal service levels with regards to accuracy and return dates.
Summary of main responsibilities and activities:
- Working closely with the internal sales team
- Producing quotations for a wide variety of project types and sizes working from architectural drawings, specifications and/or BOQ's (Bill of Quantities)
- Complete quotations accurately and within the specified deadline
- Liaise with architects and contractors to confirm information required
- Liaise with sales, CAD and other company personnel
- Carry out all other tasks necessary for the smooth running of the business
- Pace of work will often be high with significant focus on accuracy
