We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of DT Food Technology to join our dynamic team in Leeds. This is a full-time position starting in September.

**Requirements:
- **Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- DBS Check: An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, or a willingness to apply for one.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion: A genuine passion for food technology and a commitment to inspiring students.
**Key Responsibilities:
- **Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Food Technology for secondary students, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
- Student Development: Inspire and support students to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for cooking and an understanding of nutrition and food science.
- Assessment and Progress: Regularly assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and maintains discipline.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Lead or support extra-curricular activities related to Food Technology, such as cooking clubs or competitions.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in food technology education.
