SEN Teaching and Learning Support

Milk Education have partnered with a Good Ofsted rated Specialist School in Lambeth who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant. All students who attend this setting have educational health care plans. This particular schools offers a nurturing environment and a therapeutic approach to their learners, a place where all pupils and staff members find Fulfilment, Belonging, and Independence.

Students are this school are aged from 3 to 19 with severe learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autism, and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

This is a full time opportunity is term time only, Monday-Friday, 8:30-16:00.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Teacher, in the preparation and delivery of lessons
  • The ability to work on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Ensure all studies have access to a good education
  • Support students in their learning and development
  • Identify areas of need, and implement strategies and intervention to boost learners attainment

Non Negotiables:

  • Experience working within an education or with vulnerable children
  • Understanding of SEN
  • Creative and compassionate individual
  • Effective in relationship building
  • Happy to Support with Personal care
