Are you looking to join a well-established business, head quartered in Sunderland with operations across England and Scotland? Look no further! We are working with a fast-growing company that is currently looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and issue sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their accounts and any queries they may have.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
  • Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role, preferably in facilities management.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
