We are currently recruiting for a business in East Lancashire who require an Interim Group Reporting Accountant who can join the business on an extended contract and lead the Group reporting and consolidation. The business is a multi-site international operation and has seen extensive growth over the last few years, but this role is to provide support with the reporting of Group controls and processes.
Duties as the Group Reporting Accountant will include:
- Preparation of the annual statutory reports for the Groups financial statement and statutory compliance.
- Manage the consolidation process of the Group monthly reporting
- Co-ordinate the month end close process and associated reporting timetable including amendments where necessary.
- Prepare all financial reporting requirements as per the bank compliance.
- Work closely with the audit process on an internal and external basis, providing recommendations where necessary.
- Delivering and influencing continuous improvement of reporting processes across finance
- Co-ordinate subsidiary statutory audits and compliance
- Support a small finance team within the Group function.
The role will need you to be adaptable and happy to work as a team at Board level across the business. You will be knowledgeable in Group consolidations as well as have some audit experience working comfortably with the Senior Management across Europe, ideally you will also have some experience of a team leadership and staff management.
