Are you a paralegal with experience working in private wealth? If so, our client, who are a prestigious city law firm with over 250 years of expertise in advising public and privately-owned businesses, wealthy individuals, banks, and other financial institutions, will want to speak to you.
They are seeking a motivated and competent self-starter to join their Private Wealth team. This role will involve working closely with the Team Lead for Tax, Compliance, and Disclosure, delivering expert tax services, advice, and guidance to their valued clients. You will play a crucial role in managing client work efficiently, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with tasks such as trust, estate, charity, and rental accounts.
- Proactively build professional relationships with clients, co-professionals, and contacts, including HMRC.
- Support the Team Lead with annual accounts, tax returns, and providing necessary information to beneficiaries and their accountants.
- Handle charity administration and tax disclosure work.
- Maintain accurate trust records and meet deadlines.
- Manage legal research, onboarding new matters, and preparing legal documentation.
About You:
- Prior experience in private wealth matters, especially in a paralegal role is essential.
- Strong research and communication skills.
- Numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
