Pastoral Welfare Leader
Hours: 37 hours per week (term time only)
Salary: £26,519 - £28,955 annual (ACTUAL SALARY)

We are working in Partnership with a Specialist academy who are looking to recruit a committed Pastoral Welfare Leader to join our team and make a meaningful impact in their school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each child's needs in school, the community, and the family home.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized interventions and enrichment programs to enhance welfare, behaviour, and attendance.
- Refer students to relevant agencies and work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Apply specialist SEN and behaviour strategies to support self-regulation and de-escalation in line with school policies.
- Serve as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
- Oversee the day-to-day management, training, and supervision of staff including ISWs and Teaching Assistants.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
- Experience with children and young people with additional or special educational needs.
- Comply with safeguarding responsibilities and undergo TeamTeach training.
- Promote inclusion and create a safe, stimulating environment for all pupils.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
