Opus people solutions on behalf of Northampton Children's Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Fostering Team.
A fast paced and dynamic team that recruits, trains and assess potential foster carers for The Children's Trust.
What will you be doing?
The Assessing Social Worker would be allocated Stage 1 and Stage 2 Assessments and would be involved in recruitment activity and preparation training.
You would receive regular supervision and training to support the role, joining a well-established and supportive team, and be involved in recruitment and training activities within that team.
You would have access to therapeutic tools and achieve Virtual Reality accreditation.
About you
As an Assessing Social Worker, you would be experienced in fostering assessments, with a focus on safeguarding and understanding of children's needs.
You will be a confident and experienced practitioner with a strong skill set in supporting foster carers and understanding of the fostering regulations and standards. You would be a skilled communicator who is organised, dynamic and passionate and enthusiastic for the future of our children and young people.
