Sellick Partnership are partnering once again with our long-standing not-for-profit client based in Tyne and Wear to recruit for a Systems Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing and analysing information systems to meet the organisation needs. You will collaborate with Business Analyst's, Product Owners and other internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, proposing solutions, evaluating existing systems, which in turn will drive efficiencies to improve effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Documenting system configurations, procedures and configurations to enable knowledge transfer, ensuring operational effectiveness and providing training sessions to 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support teams.
  • Maintaining and developing documentation for system configurations, procedures and processes.
  • Lead on incident response efforts to resolve system outages, minimising downtime and dealing with functionality failures.
  • Regular system maintenance activities such as updates, configuration changes and patches.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a systems analyst, with a strong understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of databases, SQL queries and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Experience with business process modelling tools and techniques.
