SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £350 - £380 per week
LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Birmingham, B6, Aston. If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and have relevant experience, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with SEN, ensuring access to tailored education plans
- Assist in planning and delivering inclusive lessons
- Provide personal care, maintaining student dignity and well-being
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO
- Monitor and track student progress
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment
Requirements:
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Understanding of SEN and adaptive teaching methods
- Comfort with providing personal care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., TA qualification, CACHE Level 3, Autism Awareness, Team Teach)
