A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Store Assistant for one of our clients based in Romford area.
Location: Romford, Essex
Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 14:00
Starting Salary: £11.44 per hour
Temporary to Permanent role
Job Requirements
- Work alongside the current Stores Manager to assist with the current workload.
- Manage work card orders
- Load delivery vehicles
- Pack warehouse orders as necessary
- Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standard
- Ensures that orders are accurate
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
- Forklift Training will be provided for the right candidate
Ideal Candidate
- Previous warehouse experience preferable
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a desire to learn
- Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
- Ability to diligently follow work procedures and practices
- Numerate and Literate
- Computer literate
- Counterbalance forklift licence beneficial not not essential
- Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Attention to detail with a willingness to learn and good numeric skills
- Ability to multitask and work to KPIs
