Contract: September - December 2024 (Potential to Extend into 2025)

Are you a dedicated Maths teacher passionate about making a meaningful impact on young learners? Do you excel in creating engaging and supportive learning environments? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a KS4 Maths Teacher in Barnsley.

Our alternative provision in Barnsley offers a tailored educational experience for students aged 14-16 who benefit from a non-traditional school setting. We are committed to providing high-quality education that meets the unique needs of each student, fostering their academic growth and personal development.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a KS4 Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS4 students, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.

Develop innovative teaching strategies to make Maths accessible and interesting.

Provide personalized support and encouragement to help students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.

Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and assess student progress, offering regular feedback to students and their families.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Maths at KS4 level.

A genuine passion for working with young people in an alternative provision setting.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
