Working at a busy exam centre in Sheffield city centre a short walk from the train station.
The centre operates on MOndays, Thursdays and Fridays. THey would like to train a casual worker on whom they can call when they're busy. They anticipate approx 4-6 shifts per month on the days mentioned above.
They are looking for a steward to join them on a casual contract to help out on an ad-hoc and casual basis over the next few months
This would suit a student who is available 2-3 days per week ideally Monday, Thursday and Friday. This is causal work with no min number of shifts guaranteed so would suiit somebody who is flexible and available at short notice,
You will be required to start on Thursday 10 October
You will be working as a Steward and duties will involve:
- Meeting and greeting candidates as they arrive for their exam
- Escorting them through the exam centre
- Ensuring they arrive at designated exam room at the right time
- Adhering to social distancing at all times
About you
- experienced in a customer service roles such as hospitality or retail
- have excellent communication skills and able to liaise effectively with a wide range of people
- excellent time management skills
- ability to interact with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- comfortbale working in a face to face customer environment
- could suit a student or somebody with a flexible schedule
Typical shift time is 8:15am - 4:45pm with some varity
Rate of pay is £12 per hour
