Salary: £30,000k

Location: Oldham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join a close-knit team within a Transport and Rail company based in Oldham. They are flexible with hours of work and can accommodate for part time working too!

Duties:

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Provide administrative services for pensions.
  • Be responsible for all administration related to the task above including filling.
  • Answer queries from internal and external contacts.
  • Process all new starters, leavers, absence, statutory leave and pay.
  • Process and reconcile all fixed pay instructions e.g. basic salary changes, pay uplifts etc.
  • Prepare journals for submission to finance along with any other information. required to ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Other ad hoc duties to assist the constant improvement of the finance department.

What you'll need to succeed as a payroll administrator:

  • Previous payroll experience.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and to be able to manipulate large set of data.
  • Great team player.
  • Have proven experience of working to tight deadlines.
