Manufacturing Company looking for an experienced Category Manager who can hit the ground running. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension/ conversion.
Your new role
- High autonomy to work independently (remote reporting line)
- Taking charge of a variety of categories, moving between fractional roles
- Focusing on supplier relationship management and supplier sourcing
- Negotiating contracts and cost savings
What you'll need to succeed
- Hands-on category management experience within Manufacturing sectors
- Strong negotiation skills with proven record of cost savings
- Flexible and adaptable to work with different categories
- Strong rapport building skills - supplier relationship development
