Randstad is now looking for a Teaching Assistant who is dynamic, collected, and organised to join a devoted and professional team in Stevenage. You will be responsible for assisting the classroom instructor with a variety of activities such as lesson planning, grading papers, and giving one-on-one support to specific students who may want extra help. You will also contribute to the kids' good and effective learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Support in all areas of the primary curriculum
- Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a
- positive learning environment.
- Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, preparing and present
- Support in lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all children
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
- 2 recent professional references
- Experience with behaviours that are challenging
- A calm & caring personality
- A strong and resilient personality and commitment to pupil's development
- Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
- Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
