Assistant Accountant | Maidstone - Hybrid | £26-32K
A new exciting opportunity has become available for a leading business in their field on the outskirts of Maidstone. The client have gone through a large growth period and are now looking to add to their team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Processing payments to suppliers
- Processing business expenses
- Providing information to external auditors
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
- Verifying bank deposits
- Managing day-to-day transactions
- Posting daily receipts
- Reporting on debtors and creditors
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Managing monthly budgeting tasks
