We have an incredible opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Darlington.

About the role:
- Preparation of management accounts from a variety of clients' systems including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online
- Undertake common management accounts tasks and techniques including cash flow forecasting and break-even analysis
- Analyse, interpret and provide appropriate commentary on management accounts
- Preparation of Excel working papers and review other team member's working papers
- Prepare budgets based on historical trends and future information
- Undertake core bookkeeping tasks where appropriate
- Prepare and review CIS submissions
- Prepare and review VAT returns and communicating with clients
- Review payroll journals and communicating with clients
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members
About you:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT level 4 with relevant level experience
- Relevant management accounts experience
- Experience of using computerised accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage
- Have excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the phone, and by email
- Have excellent IT skills, applying Excel formulas
- Knowledge of different VAT schemes
- The ability to travel to clients' premises as required
