Secondary School Teaching Assistant

We are actively seeking passionate individuals to join us as Secondary School Teaching Assistants, particularly those with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), as we often work with children requiring additional support.
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant with Stafflex Education, you'll play a crucial role in the classroom environment. From day-to-day assignments to long-term placements, you will assist students in various subjects, nurture their social skills, maintain focus, and contribute to their overall learning experience. Your responsibilities will range from providing one-on-one support to preparing educational materials and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Recent experience working with secondary age children (KS3/4), within an educational setting.
- Possession of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Flexibility and strong behaviour management skills, essential for maintaining a productive learning environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues alike.
- A detailed CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
- Compliance with Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances where applicable, in line with our stringent safeguarding policies.
- Legal authorisation to work in the UK and availability for a face-to-face registration interview.
