**Role Responsibilities

  • Preparing personal tax returns for a portfolio of around 300 clients, including high-net-worth individuals, landlords, and directors
  • Handling client queries and offering clear, tailored advice
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding coding notices, repayments, and general enquiries
  • Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns
  • Assisting with trust registrations via the Trust Registration Service
  • Attending client meetings and phone calls to review tax positions and explain outcomes
  • Gaining exposure to corporation tax and broader business tax as part of your development

**Candidate Requirements

  • ATT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience in a tax-focused role
  • Experienced in personal tax compliance, ideally within an accountancy practice
  • Comfortable managing client relationships and working independently on portfolios
  • Proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Eager to continue learning and developing, study support for CTA may be offered after ATT
