A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician for a permanent contract on behalf of our client, a leading fuels supplier based in Stanford le Hope
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out and reporting analysis on fuel, components, pilots and water samples, following both in-house and industry standardised test methods
- Blending of a wide range of laboratory fuel blends and preparing additive solutions independently and consistently
- Supporting the Laboratory Quality Management System
- Calibrating and Standardising laboratory equipment aligned with the Laboratory Quality Management System
- Adhering to HSE guidelines and best practice guidelines
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge, communication and organisational skills
- Imaginative and creative approach to problem solving
- An interest in improving Quality Systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- HSE focussed
- Ideally a Degree in Chemistry (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a laboratory is desirable
- Familiarity with Fuels Laboratory Tests is preferred

Monday to Friday : 8.30am-5pm
