Water Hygiene Engineer - Colchester
Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 + Benefits
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our reputable company based in Colchester. This role requires travel and coverage up to Leicester, making it ideal for professionals looking to expand their expertise across a broader region
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in water hygiene or a related field.
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of ACOP L8 and water hygiene regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel across Colchester and up to Leicester.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct water hygiene monitoring, including temperature checks and sampling.
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, including tanks and cooling towers.
- Carry out Legionella risk assessments and remedial actions.
- Install and service TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves).
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports.
