We are looking for a strong leadership Sales Manager, who can lead this Business Development Team in maintaining existing accounts and generating, developing and nurturing new business.

The primary focus of the Group Sales Manager is to cultivate account development and growth by building and implementing plans and strategies to drive our team to success in meeting those objectives.

You will have a sound background in sales or financial services and have held significant management or leadership positions that has successfully motivated teams to deliver account growth goals. Some experience in marketing and strategic planning is required.

Sales Manager Key Responsibilities

  • To lead, manage, support & Develop the Business Development Team
  • Develop and present sales strategies to advance the company in the market industry that would increase revenue.
  • Planning and hitting the given Group Sales target.
  • Responsible for weekly reports/forecast of the BDE(s) pipeline to the COO
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff to be part of the Business Development Team in accordance with company policy and guidelines in conjunction with COO.
  • Accountable for the Business Development Team to achieve/maintain set targets & Key Performance Indicators KPI's.
  • Responsible for managing, training, developing & motivating the BDE(s).
  • Develop an efficient rapport with clients and staff.
  • Conduct and review staff appraisals.
  • Work closely with the marketing department.
  • Keep up to date with existing trends that align with the culture of the company.
  • Keep up to date with competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
  • Conduct market research to view trends in the company's products and services.
  • Participate in meetings to stay updated with leads and special accounts.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • CRM Management and ensuring the team are delivering best practices through CRM
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required
  • Developing reporting dashboards for the Business Development Team
  • Analyse and monitor data quality and segmentation opportunities

Skills Required for Sales Manager Candidate

  • B2B Sales Experience
  • Experience using CRM systems in particular Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ability to build and develop the Business Development Team to achieve/manage individual Sales Targets
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills to senior management and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to present data, targets and results clearly and accurately
  • Highly Organised for Self and Team and able to prioritise own and team tasks as needed to deliver targets
  • Ability to communicate with various team members and stakeholders
  • A collaborative team player and can work effectively within a team and across several departments
  • You're able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and tasks
  • Maybe required to travel to different locations including HO
  • Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to remain calm and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • English as a mother tongue or total proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • Good judgement and initiative
  • A good team player, willing to go the extra mile to support colleagues

Package:

£40,000 to £60,000 made up of basic salary and bonuses, subject to Own and Business Development Team performance.

Holidays:

  • 25 days, plus all Public Holidays (After successful completion of probation)
