Job Purpose
- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
- Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Trades and Partnerships
- Reviewing annual accounts, VAT returns and management accounts prepared by junior staff
- Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
- Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
- Supervise junior staff, reviewing work and supporting their professional development
- Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
- Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
- Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
- Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Strong working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Good technical tax expertise, including up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation
- A team player who can also work autonomously
- A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Reliable, professional and keen to progress within the firm
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A keen eye for detail
