French Primary Teacher

Veritas Education work closely with many French bilingual schools across London. We are therefore looking for supply French teachers to work on a flexible/ ad-hoc basis. The ideal French Teacher will hold Qualified Teachers Status, however, many schools are open to working with a native French speaking Teacher with experience of teaching within the UK. Experience working as a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a specialism in French would also be desirable. Please note that this role is not for a French Language teacher, but for a Primary Teacher who delivers the UK curriculum in French. Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons French following the UK Primary curriculum: Use cover notes and resources provided as the basis of your lesson structure. You will be covering various lessons across the UK Primary curriculum and delivering your lessons entirely in French.
- Collaborative Teaching: Work alongside an English teacher to co-teach and collaborate in the following the UK curriculum.
- Teach across KS1 and KS2: As a supply French speaking Primary Teacher, you will be expected to teach across different year groups and Key Stages throughout the day. This means you will need to be adaptable and flexible and be able to tailor your teaching according to ability.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere that encourages students to thrive.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): All applicants must have QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- French Native Speaker: Fluent in French, with strong language proficiency and cultural awareness.
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
- Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to create an enriched learning experience for students.
