Relationship Manager

Due to internal promotions, our prestigious client is recruiting for two Relationship Managers to join their asset finance team on a permanent basis. This position comes with great benefits including a competitive salary, substantial bonus scheme, (up to 50%) generous pension, (15% contribution by employer) private healthcare plus additional benefits. As a Relationship Manager, you will be working in a team of 12 people, supporting the sale of equipment through hire purchase and lease to business customers.

Main Duties

  • Providing first class customer service to support clients in choosing the right finance option for their business, and following client care good practice.
  • Negotiating finance rates and co-ordinating each stage of the client transaction.
  • A high level of telephone interaction with clients, our field-based sales team, and dealer sales personnel
  • Achieving profit and margin objectives (plus other KPIs)
  • Building relationships with clients through regular calls and emails and responding to inbound enquiries
  • Nurturing existing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel
  • Developing relationships with new clients
  • Build, manage and maintain sales pipeline

Competences and behaviours

This role would suit applicants who have recently completed a degree or college studies in a business related topic or with previous work experience in a customer service, sales, retail or hospitality industry and have the drive, enthusiasm and willingness to forge a career in finance.

A levels or BTEC are minimum educational requirements
