Design Technology Teacher (DT Teacher) required to teach resistant materials at this vibrant secondary school near Central Birmingham. This school is looking to add a QTS Design Technology Teacher to the team to teach resistant materials (wood / metal / plastic) and some 3D art lessons. With excellent facilities and access to an extensive range of resources, this is an excellent opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher to teach interactive practical lessons in the school's workshop.

As a Design Technology Teacher at this school, you will join an established team of Art & Design Teachers who work together to provide a rich and varied curriculum. This role requires a QTS Teacher and is suitable for an ECT. Students at this school enjoy learning and are encouraged to be creative, leading to excellent results in the Art and Design curriculum.

  • Teaching Design Technology across Key Stages 3 & 4 up to GCSE.
  • Planning and delivering practical lessons in line with H&S guidelines.
  • Working with an outstanding HOD to provide a varied DT curriculum.
  • Teaching a wide range of techniques and how to do them safely.
  • Helping young people to achieve academic success.
