BD Manager (Private Equity) - 12-Month FTC
We're proud to be working with a magic circle law firm, who are currently looking for a BD Manager to come in and join the marketing department as part of a 12-month FTC.
This role's specific focus means you will support business development for the Private Equity group. It involves working with lead partners on client development plans, leading pitches, and providing market insights. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activities, managing experience collection, and supporting associates with their BD plans.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Developing and implementing business development strategy with partners.
- Providing focus and direction for BD activities, influencing partner meetings, and executing projects.
- Coordinating client targeting efforts and managing CRM for private equity clients.
- Leading or overseeing proposal preparation, pitch presentations, and credentials statements.
- Identifying and coordinating client entertainment opportunities and tracking marketing spend.
- Conducting client listening sessions and ensuring feedback is actioned and reported.
- Supporting business-planning activities and briefing partners before client meetings.
- Maintaining internal communications on market/client intelligence.
- Developing and executing integrated BD campaigns and planning client seminars.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of BD tools and maintaining updated collateral.
Experience Required:
- Experience in a similar position within a legal/professional services
- A genuine interest and enthusiasm to develop an in-depth understanding of the Private Capital/Private Equity sector
- Proven track record of achieving product-line business objectives
