About the Role

The London Borough of Bromley, in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit full-time Social Workers/AMHPs to work within our Community Mental Health teams based in Orpington and Beckenham.

Bromley Social Workers (AMHPs) work closely with the community and in-patient multi-disciplinary colleagues to support adults with mental health difficulties and their carers. Your role will be to offer support to both community and in-patient services, with the focus on working together with service users to enhance their independence and quality of life. You will be expected to undertake the statutory requirements of your role and that of the local authority to include Care

If you are an AMHP with proven experience of supervision, mentoring or supporting the learning of others, Bromley would like to hear from you. Your knowledge and skills will be valued and opportunities for further development encouraged.

Bromley aim to develop and maintain a culture of continuous learning and will actively promote this throughout your employment, ensuring through good quality supervision both managerial and professional that you are developing and delivering on the skills and knowledge required for the post.

Progression to senior roles will require both the AMHP and Practice Educator qualifications.
