VIQU have partnered with a leading sporting organisation who are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a growing Quality Assurance team that they have been building out over the last 18 months. Please note that this is NOT a software QA role: they are looking for individuals with an engineering QA background.

The successful Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for implementing best practices for quality assurance, asset tracking, and data-driven analysis, ensuring that testing processes and operational procedures align with business requirements and enhance operational efficiency. The Senior QA Engineer will also manage internal and external testing effectively, thoroughly, and within established timelines, while collaborating seamlessly with suppliers and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior QA Engineer:

  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety standards.
  • Proactively introduce new methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Design and implement a test strategy aligned with E&T Group objectives.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage multiple test plans to meet defined objectives.
  • Collaborate with PMO to ensure accurate supplier testing and technical documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to resource and coordinate operational, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Flexibly manage testing across concurrent projects and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Provide occasional onsite QMO support during weekends.
  • Generate issue reports and recommend QA improvements for E&T leadership.

Required Experience of the Senior QA Engineer:

  • 3+ years' experience ideally holding a relevant degree (Bachelor of Engineering)
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • QA certification (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE).
  • Expertise in testing techniques and test-driven development.
  • Strong multitasking, creativity, and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven asset tracking management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and recommending solutions.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities.
