We have a new opportunity to join a large privately owned company in the role of a Production Manager. The company are established leaders within their sector
Reporting into the General Manger the role of the Production Manager will see you managing a small team within a High Care environment.
Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage Production and ensure Quality targets are met through KPIs
- To enforce the company HACCP policy
- To enforce the company health and safety policy
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet requirements
- Provide coaching to team to improve performance
- Deal with absence and disciplinary matters appropriately
- Focus on continuous improvement to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce non-conformances
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working in Food Manufacturing, ideally High Care
- Team management / Supervisory experience
- Experience of Training and mentoring teams
- Able to work in a fast-moving pressured environment, maintaining a keen eye for detail and remaining results-focused
