Hays are delighted to be working with one of our partner schools in the Gloucester area in their search for a History teacher to work with them, ideally on a full-time basis from September to cover a teacher due to begin her maternity leave. The Role:
- Teach History: Deliver engaging lessons that cover various historical periods, events, and civilisations.
- Inspire Inquiry: Encourage students to ask questions, analyse primary sources, and think critically.
- Promote Contextual Understanding: Help students connect historical events to contemporary issues.
- Create a Dynamic Classroom: Use multimedia, discussions, and projects to make history come alive.
- Support Student Growth: Provide constructive feedback and guide students toward academic excellence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Passion for History: A genuine love for the subject and a desire to ignite curiosity.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to tailor lessons to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects.
