About the Role:

The role of the Semi Senior is providing support to the Portfolio Managers by completing various assignments and tasks. They will provide a professional service to clients who contact and visit the office, as well as with other team members while promoting the Xeinadin vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered ensuring a focus on innovation and the future.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
  • Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence.
  • Participate in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client.
  • Attend courses to ensure technical knowledge is maintained and that CPD is complied with.
  • Accounts Preparation:
  1. Small limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships, pension schemes
  2. Prepare and monitor budgets
  3. Liaise with clients for information gathering purposes
  • Tax specific:
  1. Prepare personal tax returns
  2. Prepare VAT returns
  3. Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
  • Bookkeeping:
  1. Write up cash books, sales day books, purchase day books
  2. Bank reconciliations

Key Requirements:

  • Part/Qualified AAT or qualified by experience
  • Experience working within UK practice.

Additional Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn and use bookkeeping packages.
  • Strong organisational skills, motivation, and proficiency in using computers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort and liking of numbers.
  • Attention to detail.
