We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our Business Central ERP System. This role involves comprehensive project management, including the implementation of modules such as Finance, Project Management, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing, and Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the project, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Day to Day of the role:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to create detailed project plans.
- Organise and lead internal project meetings, providing updates on progress and directing team activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the external ERP provider, managing the relationship effectively.
- Challenge strategies and escalate concerns through appropriate channels to ensure project success.
- Guide the project team on data migration, testing strategies, and system integration.
- Organise system training sessions and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Contribute to business process improvements to support the ERP system.
- Understand the company's IT ecosystem and reporting requirements, assisting in the setup of reports within Business Central or Power BI.
- Provide regular feedback and updates on project status to the executive leadership team and communicate progress to the wider business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Project Management experience, particularly in ERP system implementation.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and experience in a similar industry.
- Strong ability to design and improve business processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build robust internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in Project Management software/tools such as MS Projects.
- Degree educated or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced IT skills, with strong organisational and negotiation capabilities.
